Feeding The Missionaries

We got the chance to have the missionaries over for dinner! All the boys except Calvin loved them! Sis Neely actually knew a boy that was from my home town ward in sugar city that just returned home from Louisiana in the fall. It was fun having them over and getting to know them.

1st Foot Rub

Jace and Todd got super lucky with some special treatment! There 1st foot scrub:) they were so excited and giggled the whole time!! So cute!

Then Nate got lucky cause he got a foot scrub and message :) 

Poor Calvin was sleeping the whole time and missed out on the fun.

The Big 4!!

Can't believe my baby Jace is 4 years old! Being his mom has been such a joy. Never knew how much joy and happiness could come from being a mom until this little boy came into the world! He is always been able to put a smile on my face. He has so much energy and is always on the go. He is such a great big brother and so helpful. He is always smiling. So grateful he is part of our family.

Jace Being Silly

This kid cracks me up!! He is so silly and is always making me laugh! As we were heading home from the children's museum he told me to look at him and this is what he was doing!

So Sleepy

Calvin was eat a banana and next thing I know he was out! Poor little guy was so worn out.

Jace and BentLee

Jace's has been so excited to see BentLee again! This was the 1st day they got to see each other and as you can see Jace was loving being reunited with his buddy!! He had his arm around him for most of sharing time ha 

Crawfish

Had crawfish for the first time. It was so creeping looking and grossed me out!! Nate had to tear off the tail and get the meat for me cause it made me want to throw up watching him do it! The meat wasn't bad but the process was what I couldn't do. Jace got sad when Nate was tear it apart and told Nate "stop daddy you are going to hurt him". Jace kept wanted to get the "crabs" out so he could play with them. But now I can say I tried them:) 

Playdough

Made homemade kool-aid playdough and the boys have loved it and I was surprised how easy it was to make :)

My Mommy

My mom is truly amazing!! She works two jobs and has since I was in high school. She is always helping her kids whenever they need help. She always pick up slack where we fall short even though all of her kids are grown up we still need her all the time!! She was has alway given her kids a 110% and made so many sacrifices that went unseen or noticed! I know being a single mom was a very hard job but I know she did the best she could! She always supported me in my sporting events, goals, or silly things I wanted to do! She never got a break!! Don't know where I would be without her.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to me!! I love being a mom and can't imagine my life with out these boys in it! I told Nate that I really really wanted to get a picture of me and my boys on Mother's Day cause last year we forgot. So after we got the boys in bed and Calvin a sleep I realized we forgot again. So almost in tears cause we forgot we hurry and got the squirts out of bed and grabbed Calvin so I could have my picture:) 

 

This year for Mother's Day I was able to really reflect on what Mother's Day meant to me... I feel like a lot of time on Mother's Day moms just want s break from being a mom and everything that comes with it. To me this didn't seem right (in the past I am guilty of have these thoughts about Mother's Day being a day for moms to get a break). But this year I decided to change my attitude and decided to really embrace and enjoy being a mother on Mother's Day and not let myself get wrapped up in the things that really don't matter. And I can honestly say I had the best Mother's Day and it really wasn't any different from my regular days! But my heart was so full of love and gratitude to be able to be a mom and experience the love you have for a child!

My Little Goofs

These goofs thought this was so funny!! A lady at Brittney Honkens baby shower showed them and they just couldn't get enough of it! They make me laugh all the time!

My Boys

I love this picture so much and everytime I look at it my heart swells up with so much joy and gratitude with how much I am blessed! They 4 boys of mine are my whole world! I would do anything for them!!

Calvin

Calvin has got this weird obsession with our laundry basket lately ha it's way funny! He will sit and play in there all the time.

These 3 boys are so awesome!! They bring so joy and energy into our home! We are beyond blessed to call them ours! It melts my heart how much they love each other and take care of one another!
